IFBB Pro Hassan Mostafa is not a quitter! He got his start in the Pro League in 2019 and by 2021 was competing at the the Mr. Olympia. He’s also competed at the Arnold Classic, the sport’s second largest contest, where he broke into the Top 10. In 2022, he won two prestigious shows in the Puerto Rico Pro and the Orlando Pro. In 2023, he’s taken two controversial runner-up placings, one in Chicago and one in Orlando; however, he was not dissuaded.
While a lot of guys who have to take not one, but two 2nd place finishes, would go cry on all the podcasts and tv shows, Hassan kept coming back freakier and hungrier than before. As a result of this relentless passion and drive, he left no stone unturned for the 2023 Vancouver Pro. As soon as he hit the stage, it was all business. Mostafa posed hard, never relaxed, and made sure that everyone knew he was there to win. You could tell in his demeanor that he wasn’t leaving without the title and the bragging rights of winning of the biggest titles in Canada.
As a result of never giving up and consistently bringing his best, this people’s champion has earned his way to the 2023 Mr. Olympia. It’s familiar ground having won the Orlando Pro in 2022 and lost that title earlier this year in a show that left fans furious and media outlets dumbfounded. This is by no means a slight on the Phil Clahar, who’d end up winning the title, but it’s just one of those judging decisions that left the fans wondering if the judges were watching the same bodybuilding show they were.
